23rd Annual Child Care Provider Recognition ReceptionA break from the Council’s traditional recognition event, this year’s celebration will feature a cocktail reception at Mallozzi’s Banquet and Ballrooms Save the date! The Annual Child Care Provider Recognition Reception is scheduled for the evening of Wednesday, May 7. Each spring, we pause to celebrate the dedication and hard work of the child care community by hosting this event. This year the reception will be held at Mallozzi’s Banquet and Ballrooms on Curry Road in Schenectady. The evening will feature recognition awards in the areas of Program Development, Professional Development, and Parent Communication. This is your opportunity to salute the outstanding dedication of your colleagues. A nomination form will be included in your invitation, which will be mailed in early April, or you can download a nomination form. Nomination Form A new addition this year will be a “Showcase Your Program” presentation. Our goal is to feature photographs from child care programs around the region. These pictures should highlight the unique qualities of your program by capturing children involved in reading, art, music and movement, or playground activities. Please submit photos of your staff and children by e-mailing them to ksmith@cdcccc.org (a friendly reminder: permission slips should be requested and retained on all children’s pictures submitted). Please e-mail your pictures by April 30.
