BUILDING EMOTIONAL LEARNING AND LITERACY
(BELL)
The goal of the BELL program is for children to enter school
ready to learn. BELL provides child care programs with the tools
and support needed to build a foundation for early literacy and
social-emotional wellness for the children they care for. This
program was developed as a part of the LEAPE (Literacy, Education
& Parent Engagement) initiative, a collaborative partnership between
the Capital District Child Care Council and Schenectady County.
