FULL TIME EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATOR/EARLY CHILDHOOD TRAINER

We are seeking a full-time early childhood educator/early childhood trainer to provide programmatic and child-specific coaching and training  to teaching staff, center directors, family child care providers, school-age child care providers, and parents; facilitating the adult learning related to the growth, development, and learning of children in the early child setting and home.  

Requirements:

Applicants must have a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood or Elementary Education.  Three to five years of experience in an early childhood center. A NYS Credentialed Trainers Certificate required. A valid NYS driver’s license required.

 

FULL TIME REGISTERED NURSE

We are seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to educate child care providers on health and safety issues, the administration of medications, and the development of a child care program’s health care plan. This individual will provide technical assistance to program staff on health related illnesses and the special health care needs of children in a child care setting.

Requirements:

Applicants must have a valid NYS Registered Nurse license with 3 years of experience preferably in pediatric nursing. Public speaking, training, mentoring, and/or coaching experience for adults are a plus. Applicants must possess a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel locally within the six county regions covered by the Council.
