Updates to our training registration policy

Registration policies

Payment by credit card is accepted exclusively on our website through our secure training registration portal. For your security, credit card numbers will not be accepted in written format. Payment by cash, check, money order, signed Educational Incentive Program (EIP) awards, or Quality Scholar dollars are accepted by mail.

Walk-in registration and payment is open if seating is available with the exception of MAT, Red Cross, and Health and Safety training which require pre-payment and registration. You are encouraged to call in advance to check on available seating.

Refunds will be given when the Council is notified of cancellation at least 1 week prior to the training date. Refunds will not be issued if the registrant does cancel at least 1 week prior to the training date and does not attend. Registrations may be rescheduled* to alternate training dates.

*For MAT, Red Cross, and Health and Safety, registrants that do not attend, and have not cancelled at least 1 week prior to the training date will be required to register and pay again.

Training may be cancelled due to inclement weather. The Council will contact registrants affected by a cancellation at the contact information provided on the registration. To find out if a training has been cancelled, call 518-426-7181, log on to www.cdcccc.org, listen to Radio 810 WGY, or watch WNYT 13, WTEN 10, CBS 6, Capital News 9, or WXXA Fox 23. Refunds or credit to attend a future workshop will be issued. Join our enews to receive cancellation alerts.

Membership Rates

Payment at the member rate is available when your membership is current or when membership payment is made along with the registration fee.

Educational Incentive Program (EIP)

Scholarship funding may be available through the Educational Incentive Program (EIP). For more information or to apply for a scholarship, please visit www.ecetp.pdp.albany.edu , or contact EIP at eip@albany.edu or 800-295-9616. If you have received an EIP, please sign it and mail it to the Council along with your registration. If you have applied for, but have not received the EIP, please remit payment. When the Council receives your signed EIP, you will be reimbursed in the original form of payment in 2 to 4 weeks.


Confirmation of registration is sent by email to the email address provided.


We are unable to accommodate children during workshops and conferences.


Photos of workshops may be taken for use in Council marketing and on the internet. Please alert your presenter if you do not wish to be photographed.
