Child Care Food Program

As a registered group/family child care or legal exempt child care provider, you are eligible to participate in the USDA Child Care Food Program.

The USDA Child Care Food Program is a federally funded program, which gives child care providers money to help with their child care food expenses. Participating providers supply meals that meet USDA meal patterns and keep daily records of the meals and the number of children served. In addition, participants agree to have their program visited by a food program monitor a minimum of three times a year to review their meal service and record keeping. In addition, the Child Care Council has implemented a state of the art computer system called Minute Menu which offers providers the opportunity to submit their claims for payment via the Internet.

If you are interested in learning more about this program, please contact the Child Care Food Program Staff.

We look forward to hearing from you!
