Educational Training Opportunities  

The Child Care Council provides a wide variety of educational opportunities for child care programs in the Capital District. Through workshops, conferences, and technical assistance, the training team is available to assist with such topics as Child Development, Business Management, Curriculum Planning, Parent/Staff Communication, Developmentally Appropriate Activities, Medication Administration Training, and more.

Educational opportunities are available for family child care providers, child care center teachers and school-age professionals.

Twice each year, the Child Care Council publishes the Compass, a complete guide to training. In addition to the workshops in the Compass, many other workshops, special events and conferences are planned. Check back often for updates.
